First Service Pack for the Vectorworks 2012 product line now available 19/10/11
Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc. has released its first Service Pack for the Vectorworks® 2012 product line.
This Service Pack addresses a number of recently discovered issues, most notably in the areas of worksheets, referencing, plants, hidden line rendering and the Push/Pull tool.
This Service Pack is available for all licenses as a downloadable updater. To install the Service Pack, please go to the About Vectorworks 2012 dialog box in the Vectorworks menu (Mac users) or Help menu (Windows users) and click Check for Updates.

NCS will offer its web-based colour palette tool, NCS Navigator, tailored especially for the Vectorworks Architect software to help designers ensure accurate colour selection for finishes in their designs.
Serpentine Pavillion in Hyde Park planned with Vectorworks 7/7/11

Stepping Thru Accessible Details: A Compilation from the 2010 Americans with Disabilities Act and the California Building Code for Commercial Projects by Janis Kent, AIA, CASp, is a new book for architects, landscape architects, interior designers, and anyone else involved in the built commercial environment. It includes more than 100 architectural details and specifications based on the 2010 ADA with a color-coded overlay of the 2010 California Building Codes, as well as a CD of the book.

Vectorworks wins Construction Computing "Product of the Year' award 29/11/10
Vectorworks 2011 was honored at this year’s Construction Computing Awards as the winner of the Product of the Year 2010 award. The awards ceremony was held November 28 at The Guoman Tower Hotel in London. About 200 attendees from industry-leading companies attended the event, which included a champagne reception, a three-course dinner, and entertainment by comedian Adam Bloom. Computers Unlimited, the UK Vectorworks Distributor, were in attendance to accept the award.

Beginning with the next release of Vectorworks software, which will be available on 14/09/10, our Renderworks rendering application will be based on MAXON’s CINEMA 4D render engine.
